Christians who are involved in the creative arts can be
highly misunderstood!
Often church people are bewildered by Christians who
express their faith creatively, through art, painting,
contemporary dance, performance poetry, banner making,
acting, clowning, mime, music (especially Rock Music!) and
songwriting! To name but a few! Having been on the
receiving end of critical 'Christian' comment over the
years,
I have often been called to support Christians trying to
communicate their faith using creative arts. Fortunately I
have a long enough track record in Christian ministry to
carry a little clout when it comes to supporting
marginalised Christians artists!
That's what Songwriters On a Mission is all about!
